Gray Dog Press was
established to expand due to an ever increasing demand
by the Spokane area writers and self-publishers to
increase their opportunity for book sales that may
otherwise not be made outside the local area.
We are here to provide the necessary support and
structure that distributors and buyers look for when
considering their purchases. In 2007 we expanded and
now are a publisher of fiction and non-fiction
works.
Most of our authors
are from the eastern Washington / north Idaho
region. For us to consider an author's work we
require that they have a marketable manuscript, are
available to meet with us directly, and can be
available for signings, reading, interviews and
other media appearances.
At Gray Dog Press
we specialize in soft-cover books and have all of
the necessary equipment and resources to setup,
layout, edit, print, bind and finish the books
in-house. Many publishing companies have to
delegate the printing to another company, possibly
losing control over the quality and production
time. Many printers do not have the equipment
and resources to produce a book from beginning to
end and may need to job out parts, if not all, of it
to another more specialized firm.
