More Information
Full details can be read on the application itself, downloadable here. If for some reason your questions still haven't been answered, please contact us via email.
Volunteer Readers Program
Gray Dog Press is committed to a quick turnaround time on submissions. We're also committed to working closely with our current and past authors, and because they take precedence, that means spending less time reviewing the many submissions that come in.
To help expedite the review process, Gray Dog Press seeks a few volunteer readers to read and critique incoming submissions. Reviewers send promising manuscripts directly to an editor for consideration. Readers are invited to speak their minds and to attend occasional editorial meetings, as well as release events and other functions. We ask for a minimum of two manuscript reviews per week. Reviews need not be done in the office unless reading hard copy submissions; digital submissions can be read through our Submishmash system.
